By Nicole Goolishian, Assistant Director, Tewksbury Public Library
Looking to quickly print a return label or boarding pass? Need to fax a document but not sure where to go? Look no further than the Tewksbury Public Library, where you’ll find a variety of technology services to get these errands off of your to-do list.
What printing services are available at TPL? You can print from home, your laptop, phone, or directly from the library’s readily available computers. Send a print from home by clicking the eprint portal here or stop in today to send a document straight from your phone.
What is the cost for printing? Printing options are available in black & white at the cost of $0.10 a page and in color for $0.25 a page.
What other technology services are available? Faxing, scanning, and photocopying are also available.
What is the cost for these services? Faxing is available at the cost of $1.00 per page, photocopies cost $0.15 per page and are available only in black & white, and scanning to your email or USB drive is free.
Does the library offer computers and Wi-Fi? Yes, to both! Computers and free Wi-Fi are available throughout the library. Computers can be found in the Children’s Room, Teen Room and on the second floor.
Can I use these computers if I don’t have a library card? Yes, if you do not have a library card with you when you visit, you can still use the computers with a guest pass. Lost your card? No problem! You can get a free replacement at the Front Desk. September is Library Card Sign-Up Month so it’s a great time to get a card or replace a lost one. If you can’t make it to the library, sign up for a new eCard here.
TPL asks that all visitors using public computers agree with the internet policy as part of an effort to create a safe user environment for everyone of all ages. More information on this policy can be found on the library’s website here.
Library staff are here to answer your questions! Please visit tewksburypl.org or call 978-640-4490 for assistance.
