Tewksbury residents are invited to interfaith service, other celebrations
The Billerica Interfaith Association invites Tewksbury residents to join them in a celebration to honor Juneteenth. There will be speakers, faith leaders and a community panel discussion as well as music and light refreshments. The featured speaker is the Rev. James M. Hairston, followed by music with Billerica’s own B.J. Snowden and Faye Sunshine Blackwood.
Tewksbury was pleased to welcome our Billerica neighbors to the recent Pride festival and thank Jeanne Landers, who’s organizing this event with the Billerica Interfaith Association, for the invitation.

Third Annual Juneteenth Freedom Festival
When: Saturday, 1 p.m.

Come celebrate freedom with music, food, dance, beer, and art! Save the date for Reading’s Third Annual Juneteenth Freedom Festival.
Juneteenth & Father’s Day Celebration in Lowell
When: Sunday, noon – 5 p.m.
Where: Muldoon Park, 5 Billerica St.. Lowell
This event is outdoors (rain or shine), FREE of charge, and open to all, including your furry friends. First come first served for food, until gone. We will have games, music, kayaking (weather dependent), Lowell National Historic Park: Art in the Park, Lowell Community Health Center Info Table, Small Business & Information Tables, gift bags (while supplies last), the LCCPS Afro-Percussion Ensemble and Step Team (performing at 1pm) and an outdoor exhibition.
There is also a Juneteenth flag raising on Saturday at 11 a.m. at City Hall Plaza

Andover Baptist Church Juneteenth 2023 Celebration
When: Monday, 4 – 7- p.m.
Where: Andover Baptist Church, 7 Central St., Andover
The keynote speaker will be Mr. Ralph Bledsoe, followed by musical performances, Juneteenth-inspired food, vendors, family games and an Embodied Social Justice Workshop from 4 – 5 p.m. Find more info.
