Tewksbury Supportive Housing Residents Enjoy TJ Callahan’s Corned Beef Dinner

Maniscalco says such events nourish the body and soul

A St. Patrick’s Day luncheon was held at the Tewksbury Housing Authority’s Villa at Meadowview Supportive Housing development last Friday.

“I had reached out to Dawn Callahan of TJ Callahan’s and she very generously donated corned beef and cabbage dinners to 20 of our residents,” said Executive Director Melissa Maniscalco. “The portions were plentiful, and the food was delicious.”

The event was put on by the resident service coordinator at the Villa, Debra Imperioso, with assistance from Maniscalco and Resident Manager Corinne Delaney.  The Villa at Meadowview property is owned by Age Span and managed by the Tewksbury Housing Authority.

“Events like this are critical in the wellbeing of our residents, not only by providing a hot nutritious meal but also gathering the residents together in a social setting where they can form friendships with their neighbors,” said Maniscalco.

Residents sent a thank you to Dawn Callahan of TJ Callahan’s for providing a traditional dinner.
