Residents Invited to Learn More About Local Housing Needs, Housing Production Plan

Join in this afternoon to share your ideas on how to provide more affordable options

At a workshop happening today at 5:30 p.m., the NMCOG housing planning team along with town staff will present findings from a recent housing survey and proposed action items to address local housing needs.

Participants are encouraged to discuss possible strategies to create a vision for equitable, affordable housing in Tewksbury.

The Town of Tewksbury Housing Production Plan for 2023-2027 serves as a framework for considering Comprehensive Permit projects, zoning changes, Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) expenditures, Community Preservation Act (CPA) fund expenditures, and other actions the Town and its partners can undertake to increase the supply of affordable housing.

The project is supported by a NMCOG District Local Technical Assistance grant funded by the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD).
