Thinking of Running for Local Office? Papers Available Tuesday for 2023 Elections

9 seats are on the ballot

Nomination papers for Town of Tewksbury elected offices will be available at the Town Clerk’s office, Town Hall, 1009 Main Street, beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Offices open for election in the year 2023 are:
Board of Selectmen (1 Seat) – Jay J. Kelly
School Committee (1 Seat) – Keith M. Sullivan
Planning Board – 3 Year Term (1 Seat) – Robert A. Fowler
Planning Board – 2 Year Unexpired Term (1 Seat) – Jonathan T. Ciampa
Board of Library Trustees (2 Seats) – Lorraine H. Carriere, Patrick J. Joyce
Board of Health (1 Seat) – Charles J. Roux
Housing Authority – 2 Year Unexpired Term (1 Seat) – Vacant
Moderator (1 Seat) – Dustin T. Weir

The Annual Town Election will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The last day for candidates to file their nomination papers is Friday, February 10, 2023 before 5:00 p.m., at the Town Clerk’s Office.

FIFTY (50) valid registered Tewksbury voter’s signatures and addresses are required.

    After much reflection, Patty’s support and resolve with others that have the same goals. I WILL NOT be running in 2023 but will do everything within my power together with them to oppose those forces that want to make our town, turn to the radical left agenda. Also, I will be bringing an Amendment to Annual Town Meeting. God Bless Our Town and stay tuned for 2024…
