Second Chance to See Ice Sculpture

Due to heavy rain and close to 60 degree temperatures, the Wilmington unveiling of the Annual Holiday Ice Sculpture, sponsored by businesses from the Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce, was postponed. So if you missed seeing the sculpture here on Friday, you can catch it in Wilmington this weekend.

The ice sculpture will now debut on Saturday, Dec. 10 on the Town Common in time for the 10 a.m. start of the 5th Annual Winter SOLEstice 5K organized by the Sole Sisters Running Club. Community members are encouraged to stop by to view the design and take photos.

Celtic Christmas

Tewksbury residents are invited to A Celtic Christmas Concert on Thursday, Dec. 22 from 7 – 8 p.m. in the large conference room at the Wilmington Memorial Library. Register here as space is limited.

Enjoy the music of talented multi-instrumentalist Jeff Snow, who plays and shares the stories of the music of Scotland, Ireland and England. This concert features Celtic, Christmas and holiday tunes. There will be singing, laughing, clapping and perhaps a bit of foot stomping; questions and input from the audience are encouraged and become part of the event.
