When the Library decided not to continue with the Festival of Trees, which had been on hiatus due to the pandemic, the call went out to other town committees and groups to continue the Tewksbury tradition of local organizations decorating trees for the holiday season.
The Open Space and Recreation Plan Committee stepped up and pulled together a Winter Tree Walk modeled after the Groton Winter Tree Stroll. Community groups were invited to decorate a tree or natural space along the trails. Almost 20 organizations are taking part.
Beginning today and running through Jan. 1, 2023, decorated spaces will be on display at Rogers Park, the Pinnacle Trails and the Chandler Well Fields. Not sure where these trails are? Grab maps here.
