Tewksbury’s First Winter Tree Walk Seeks Participants

The Tewksbury Open Space and Recreation Plan Committee would like to welcome all Tewksbury nonprofits and town departments to participate in the first Winter Tree Walk event. This event will present a great opportunity to showcase Tewksbury organizations and bring residents out to see the town’s conservation spaces and celebrate winter.

The library is not hosting the Festival of Trees this year, so we hope you will consider participating in this event.

From Nov. 25, 2022 through Jan. 1, 2023, decorated spaces will be on display at Rogers Park, the Pinnacle Trails and the Chandler Well Fields.

  • Groups are invited to decorate a tree or natural space along the trails. We’d like visitors to “discover” your winter-themed creation as they stroll the trails.
  • Open to Tewksbury nonprofit/local government organizations.
  • All decorations should be completely installed by Nov. 20, 2022 and removed by Jan. 8, 2023.
  • The deadline to confirm participation is Nov. 11, 2022. Please contact Paige Impink at pfimpink@comcast.net to reserve your space and receive additional details.
