Four Meetings Scheduled for Retail Marijuana Proposals

In the coming week, residents can hear from four proponents of marijuana dispensaries in town.

Under Massachusetts law, all meetings must cover the proposed location and type of establishment, the building being moved into and its compliance with security requirements, steps taken to prevent the diversion of marijuana to minors, a plan to positively impact the local community and information on how the location will not constitute a nuisance to the community. Meeting attendees are encouraged to ask questions.

Proposed location: Maverick’s
Meeting: Friday, Oct. 21 at 5 p.m.
Meeting location: Elks

Notice is hearby given that Harbour Grace LLC will host a community outreach meeting for a proposed retail marijuana establishment on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at the Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks Lodge, 777 South Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876.The meeting will include discussion regarding a proposal to site an Adult-Use Marijuana Retailer at 2212 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876. There will be an opportunity for the public to ask questions.

Meeting location: TJ Callahan’s

Notice is hereby given by Cannafords Inc (“Sundaze”) that a Second Community Outreach Meeting for a proposed Retail Marijuana Establishment is scheduled for October 21, 2022 at 7:10pm at TJ Callahan’s 1475 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876. The proposed Retail Marijuana Establishment is anticipated to be located at 2504 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876. There will be an opportunity for the public to ask questions.

This will be the second meeting for Sundaze. Here’s what happened at the first one.

Meeting: Saturday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m.

Notice is hearby given that Bella Luna LLC will host a community outreach meeting for a proposed retail marijuana establishment on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Tewksbury Knights of Columbus, 2068 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876. The meeting will include discussion regarding a proposal to site an Adult- Use Marijuana Retailer at 890 East Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876. There will be an opportunity for the public to ask questions.

Pure Tewksbury, Inc. Notice is hereby given that Pure Tewksbury, Inc. will hold a Community Outreach Meeting on October 25, 2022 at the Holiday Inn Tewksbury-Andover, located at 4 Highwood Drive, Tewksbury, MA 01876 at 6:00 PM to discuss the proposed siting of an Adult Use Marijuana Retailer at 1699 Shawsheen Street in Tewksbury in accordance with M.G.L. ch. 94G and the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission’s regulations at 935 CMR 500.000 et seq. Interested members of the community are encouraged to ask questions and receive answers from company representatives about the proposed facility and operations.
