Mailbag: Waste Day, Car Wash, Online Game, Guinea Pig Adoptathon

Waste day: On Saturday, town residents can bring household hazardous waste to the Senior Center. See what can and can’t be dropped off. Proof of residency required.

Car wash: Also on Saturday, the TMHS Class of 2023 will hold a car wash at Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. By donation. All proceeds will benefit the class, including funding the prom.

Play ‘Among Us’ (Grades 8-12): There’s still space for teens to join this afternoon’s multiplayer game of teamwork and betrayal over Zoom, which starts at 3:30 p.m. Download the free Among Us app, and play in a private match hosted by the Tewksbury Public Library.   This event is for teens in grades 8-12. Guinea PIG-nic: Garden Picnic Company is partnering with the Lowell Humane Society, at its site at 951 Broadway St., to host a Guinea PIG-nic, a Small Animal Adoptathon that includes all adoptable guinea pigs, rabbits and hamsters. “Pig” your price adoption fee. There will also be a PIGnic Photo Booth available for guinea pigs and rabbits to have their portraits taken in a picturesque picnic scene. Learn more here.
