Application for Planning Board Seat Now Open

The Town of Tewksbury is seeking to fill a vacancy on the Planning Board for a term to end April 1, 2023.

Residents who have an interest in serving on the Planning Board should complete the online application and submit it by July 29 at 4:30 p.m. Applicants will be asked to provide a narrative on why they wish to serve and to upload a resume.

You may also request a printable copy of the application from the Town Clerk’s office and return it to: Town Hall, 1009 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876, Attn: Denise Graffeo, Town Clerk, or send it via e-mail to townclerk@tewksbury-ma.gov

The opening is the result of the recent resignation of Eric Ryder. The person selected will fill the seat until the next scheduled town election, when someone will be elected to fill the remainder of Ryder’s term.

After reviewing all applications, the Planning Board and the Select Board will convene a joint meeting to interview applicants and vote on their selection to fill the seat for the next eight months.

Interested residents can learn more about what the Planning Board does and when it meets at the Board’s web page.
