Tewksbury Friends of the Elderly, Inc. are once again providing a “staycation” to the Foxwoods Casino in Ledyard, Conn., on July 21, 2022. The cost is $40 per person and includes bus, with air-conditioning and restroom, driver gratuity, snacks, water and the chance to play ( and hopefully win) Bus Bingo.
Tickets are available now at the senior center help desk on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.; ask for Kay Maher. For more information, please call 978-640-4480. Cash is accepted or make check payable to “Friends of the Elderly.”
The very comfortable coach bus leaves from the Tewksbury Senior Center, 174 Chandler St., at 7:00 a.m. and returns to the parking lot at approximately 5:15 p.m.
