There’s plenty to do at the Tewksbury Senior Center this week.
The Friends of the Elderly are sponsoring another bus trip to Foxwoods. The bus will leave the Senior Center parking lot at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday and depart Foxwoods at 3:00 p.m. to arrive back in Tewksbury at approximately 5:00 p.m., leaving plenty of time to drop by the Community Market opening day.
You can purchase tickets at the Senior Center from Kay Maher today, Tuesday, from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. Kay Zerosfski will keep travelers entertained with “Bus Bingo” on the way down and treats for the ride home. The cost is $40 per person.
Then on Friday, residents are invited to come dance or just listen to the sounds of the Silvertones from 7 to 10 p.m.

Whatever your pleasure — waltz, Latin, jitterbug, line dances — the Silvertones have just the beat for you. Tickets are $10 and on sale at the door, which open at 6:30 p.m. It is casual attire, bring your munchies, soda will be available for purchase. Bring along a friend, have some fun and don’t forget your dancing shoes.
