Here is the schedule for the ceremony marking Memorial Day.
Memorial Day, always observed on the last Monday of May, is a day to reflect on and honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. While also the unofficial beginning of summer, it’s a solemn day. The American flag should be hung at half-staff until noon, and since 2000, Americans have been encouraged to pause for a National Moment of Remembrance at 3 p.m. local time.
