The Tewksbury Public Schools is seeking nominations for the 2nd annual Krissy Polimeno Outstanding Educator Award to recognize an individual who has had a significant impact on a Tewksbury school or the district.
The award will be given annually to honor an individual educator in the area of active involvement, volunteering and giving a generous amount of time and energy to the quality of the educational system as an advocate for students in the Tewksbury Public Schools.
Selection criteria include leadership, special action and inspiration as a role model to peers and students.
The Krissy Polimeno Outstanding Educator Award is named after Krissy Polimeno and will be given out to an individual educator who is notable for their great contributions of charity, leadership, volunteering and service to the schools of Tewksbury. The Tewksbury School Committee presented Krissy Polimeno with the first Outstanding Educator Award in 2019.
The deadline for nominations is May 25, 2022. A brief narrative with the application is encouraged. Nominations may be sent to Gail Johnson, Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools, by email at gjohnson@tewksbury.k12.ma.us
