Senior Briefs: Zingo Returns, Tax Assistance

That’s right, Zingo is coming back! At the Feb. 15 COA meeting, Tewksbury Senior Center director Jan Conole announced that the mask mandate for public buildings in Tewksbury was lifted. That is good news for all my fellow seniors who have missed so many great activities at the Center.

Mark your calendars and get those lucky charms ready. Tuesday, March 8 is the big day for Zingo. There will be many more events happening in the coming months, so be sure to stay tuned.

Need help with your taxes? The Massachusetts Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is up and running and local volunteers are ready to help you and your family prepare their taxes for the 2021 year. The VITA program has operated for over 50 years, offering free tax help to help those who need assistance in preparing their tax returns. You can access these services online at www.getyourrefund.org/cti or book an appointment at Community Teamwork Inc.
