Town clerk Denise Graffeo informs residents who are not registered to vote that this is the final day to register if you wish to be eligible to vote at the April 2, 2022 Annual Town Election and the May 2 & 4, 2022 Annual Town Meeting.

Persons who are United States citizens, residents of Massachusetts and who will be at least 18 years old on or before April 2 are eligible to register. Those meeting the qualifications can submit their registrations online, in person or by mail.

To register online at www.RegisterToVoteMA.com you must have a signature on file with the Registry of Motor Vehicles. If you currently have a Massachusetts driver’s license or state ID card, you may use the online voter registration application to register, update your address or change your party affiliation. Voter registration forms submitted online must be submitted by midnight on the date of the voter registration deadline.

Town Hall will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on March 11 for voters who wish to register to vote in person.

Mail-in voter registration forms may also be obtained at the following link: Mail In Voter Registration Application, and you can learn more about registering or changing parties and find answers to other questions at the Secretary of State’s website.

Graffeo advises those registering by mail to have their forms hand-canceled at the post office to ensure they are postmarked before the deadline.

Residents may also register to vote during regular Town Clerk office hours, Monday- Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  For inquiries, please phone the Office of the Town Clerk at 978-640-4355.
