February is Love Your Library month, and the Friends of the Tewksbury Library are holding an online fundraiser. Check out coffee, hot chocolate and treats from Java Joe here. All proceeds fund programming at the Library. The Friends are also welcoming new members.

Early on Friday morning as a commuter train was passing over the crossing at Middlesex Ave., the crossing arms failed to activate in a timely manner that would provide pedestrian or motor vehicle traffic adequate time to respond. Fundraiser: Dine-Out at Kyoto to benefit TMHS DECA

Wednesday, February 23, Kyoto will host a dine-out in support of TMHS DECA students attending the DECA State Conference in Boston. Please mention DECA when paying. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Join Professor Laura E. Nym Mayhall for a talk on Queen Elizabeth II’s legacy in light of her 70 years on the throne. An Associate Professor of History at the Catholic University of America, Dr. Mayhall is the author of The Militant Suffrage Movement: Citizenship and Resistance in Britain, 1860-1930, and co-editor of Women’s Suffrage in the British Empire: Citizenship, Nation and Race.
