My name is Rich Russo Jr., and I am excited to announce my candidacy for Tewksbury School Committee. I’m seeking a school committee seat because I’m enthusiastic about the educational experience for all students and believe that every child in Tewksbury deserves a first-class education.
I love this community as I lived here just about my entire life, and that is the reason my wife and I decided to raise our three children in Tewksbury. The combination of experiences in both my professional career and my personal life makes me uniquely qualified to be your candidate. My leadership qualities along with my financial background are two of the strengths that I will bring to the table.
I know I can be an asset to our school committee from day 1 and help lead our district in a direction where Tewksbury is looked at as an educational leader. Tewksbury deserves a school committee member that welcomes communication and transparency, two things that I will always deliver on. Tewksbury deserves a school committee member that listens to all stakeholders, our residents, our children and our educational staff doing the job every day. Tewksbury also deserves a school committee member that can work with the administration to allocate our tax dollars and resources effectively and responsibly.
My mission is simple, I will always lead by example and will always make decisions putting our children’s needs and interests at the forefront. If I’m fortunate enough to be elected, I will fight to have our families’ voices heard at the table.
I can do this for our district because it takes leadership and I know how to lead. We can truly make a difference, but it is going to take all of us. There is truly no time to waste, now is the time to put our kids FIRST. When we do that, we are seizing every opportunity and creating a better environment for our children to thrive.
