Help Wanted: Tewksbury Seeks Poll Workers

Tewksbury is looking for new election officers to work our elections. Election officers check-in voters, operate ballot boxes, help tally results and make democracy come alive in Tewksbury.

These positions are paid and bring enormous civic engagement and personal satisfaction. Please consider joining the more than 100 residents currently serving as election officers. 

Additional poll workers will be needed for the following elections: 

April 2, 2022 Annual Town Election 

*September 20, 2022 State Primary 
*date expected to change subject to a vote of the state legislature 

November 8, 2022 State Election 

To be a poll worker in Tewksbury, you must: 

• Be a registered voter in Massachusetts; or 

• Be 16 or 17 years old and have the permission of your parent/guardian and school. Training for poll workers will be provided by the Town Clerk prior to each election. 

Applications are available to be downloaded from the Town Clerk page of the town’s website, or by following this link.
