The week of January 10 saw live band concerts for Wynn and Ryan School performers. Band teacher Tim Olevsky admitted it was still not a normal band concert, with kids separated by six feet, special masks and face shields. Audience members also were required to wear masks. But everyone was excited to be there.
Mr. Olvesky pointed out that there had to be two concerts this year due to an increased interest in band. Both concerts lasted about an hour and included the classics Hot Cross Buns and Mary Had a Little Lamb.
