Rep. Seth Moulton, who represents Tewksbury in the U.S. House of Representatives, invites residents to join in a Day of Remembrance and Action on Thursday, Jan. 6, and to attend a virtual organizing meeting on Monday, Jan. 31.
In the 6th District, events in Lynn and Andover are being held on Thursday, and Moulton urges residents to join if they’re able.
“Across the country, state legislatures are trying to finish what the riotous mob started on 1/6,” said Moulton. “Nothing less than our democracy is at stake.”
The Andover event is scheduled for 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. at Shawsheen Square, at the intersection of routes 133 & 28. Organizers say this is an in-person, masked, outdoor event with plenty of space to spread out for social distancing. They will provide candles and ask attendees to bring their own signs.
The Congressman also asks constituents to sign up for the first Team Moulton meeting of 2022, where he and staff will discuss reelection, down-ballot and statewide races and important House races where Team Moulton can make an impact.
