In other news, Moulton teamed up with Rep. Jim Clyburn of South Carolina to co-author an op-ed on why their GI Bill Restoration Act is needed. Residents might not know that Black WWII veterans were denied the raft of benefits afforded to their white counterparts under the GI Bill. This legislation, introduced by Reps Moulton and Clyburn along with Senator Raphael Warnock of Georgia, seeks to remedy that by providing the families of those Black veterans a transferable benefit that their descendants can use to attend college, secure housing, start businesses and build generational wealth.
And, on the elections front, Moulton was proud to endorse Boston City Councillor Lydia Edwards in her upcoming special election contest for State Senate, as well as endorsing the successful campaign for now State Rep. Jamie Belsito. Congratulations Jamie, and best of luck to Lydia!
Finally, the team wishes to thank everyone who joined the Congressman last month for the Team Moulton MA06 Political Roundtable.
