Tewksbury to Hold Annual Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting Dec. 3

The Tewksbury Public Events and Celebrations Committee (TPEC) is pleased to announce that it will host the 8th Annual Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Town Common, 1009 Main Street.

Join us for this fun, FREE event. It will be a festive night to include:

> Marshmallow roasting on open fires.

> Staging of a beautiful ice sculpture donated by the Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce and its associated businesses. Note that the Chamber is seeking ice sponsors!

> Hot cider and donuts

> Balloon animals, carolers and and ornament decoration station

> Help writing letters to Santa, and of course…

> Meet Santa and a couple of his helpful elves!

Please be sure to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to the local toy drive! Children in our community can benefit from your generosity.

Parking will be available at Town Hall and the Annex. Town Hall Avenue will be closed to through traffic. This event is put on with the generous support of the Town Manager’s office, Police Department, Fire Department and Department of Public Works.
