Tewksbury Senior Center To Host Flu Shot Clinic for All Residents

The Massachusetts Reserve Corp. will administer the influenza vaccine on Monday, Nov. 15 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Tewksbury Senior Center.

During most flu seasons, individuals who are 65 years and over bear the greatest burden of severe flu disease.

How deadly is the flu?

While most people recover in a few days to less than two weeks, some will develop complications. These complications can be life-threatening — influenza is one of the deadliest vaccine-preventable diseases in America.

This clinic is open to all Tewksbury residents. Take a few minutes and protect yourself, family and friends.

You must make an appointment; please call Marguerite at 978-640-4480 ext. 296.

Make sure you bring your insurance card(s) and Medicare card (if applicable). Wear a short sleeved shirt, and remember that masks are mandated inside the Senior Center.

BE SAFE!
