A Tewksbury Community Vaccination Clinic will be held on Friday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tewksbury Senior Center, 175 Chandler St. Everyone age 12 and over is eligible, and the COVID-19 vaccine is FREE to all.
Please bring your health insurance information if you have it. Anyone under the age of 18 must bring a signed parental consent form. Walk-ins are welcome.
The first monthly DJ Dance & Lunch since the reopening of the Senior Center will be held on Monday, Sept. 27. Residents may arrive by 11:30 a.m. and enjoy lunch before the dance, which runs from noon to 2 p.m.
Tickets are $5 and may be purchased in advanced at the Senior Center or at the door. Note that if you would like to include lunch in your $5.00 ticket price, you must sign up by Tuesday, Sept. 21.
Lunch will include pizza, salad and dessert. Tickets purchased at the door will not include lunch.
Joey B-Bop is our new DJ for the afternoon dances. Billed as the North Shore’s most versatile entertainer for over 15 years, Joey is a vocalist of all genres specializing in oldies but goodies, performing songs from artists including Sinatra, Dion, Bobby Darin, Louis Armstrong, Engelbert Humberdinck and Neil Diamond.
Let’s get those dancing shoes on and get your groove going. And a big THANK YOU to our generous sponsors: Giving Tree Senior Living & Bayberry at Emerald Court.
