Tewksbury School Committee To Interview Superintendent Finalist

The Tewksbury School Committee is holding a special meeting at 6pm in Room LGI-1 at Tewksbury Memorial High School (320 Pleasant Street). The Committee will interview Assistant Superintendent Dr. Nancy Milligan for the Superintendent position. Read the agenda HERE. The meeting is open to the public. The meeting will also be televised on Comcast (Ch. 22) and Verizon (Ch. 34) and streamed on the Town’s YouTube channel.

Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber Of Commerce Annual Meeting

The Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce is holding its Annual Meeting from noon to 2pm at Luna Rosa (1699 Shawsheen Street). Join the Chamber’s Board of Directors for lunch, conversation, raffle, giveaways and Chamber updates from President and Tewksbury Selectman Mark Kratman. No charge for guests, but registration is required HERE.

Fundraiser For Republican State Representative Candidate Chris Shepley

The campaign for State Representative Chris Shepley is holding a fundraiser from 6pm to 8pm at Luna Rosa (1699 Shawsheen Street). Cash bar and appetizers. Suggested donations are $50, $100 and $250. Shepley, a member of the Andover School Committee, is running for the 18th Essex District, the seat currently held by State Rep. Tram Nguyen, who is running for Congress. The district includes parts of Andover, Boxford, North Andover and Tewksbury.

Library Webinar: The Life & Career Of Rob Reiner

The Tewksbury Public Library is holding a webinar on the life & career of Rob Reiner at 7pm via ZOOM. The presentation will be led by Frank Mandosa, a film historian and Massachusetts high school Film and English teacher. He is the host of “Reels of Cinema” podcast and co-host of the “Movies Across The Pod” podcast. Learn more & register HERE.

Kids Lego Club at Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library is holding a meeting of its monthly Lego Club from 6pm to 7pm. This event is open to children in grades K-5. Registration isn’t required. Learn more HERE.

Tewksbury Garden Club Monthly Meeting

The Tewksbury Garden Club is holding a its monthly meeting at the Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street). Doors open at 6:30pm. The meeting begins at 7pm. Club members will learn how to create an interpretive floral display of an object. Discover how to become a Garden Club member HERE.

Shawsheen Tech & Tewksbury High School To Hold School Council Meetings

The Shawsheen Valley Technical High School Council meets at 2:15pm in the School Committee Room at the Tech (100 Cook Street, Billerica). Read the agenda HERE. Meanwhile, the Tewksbury Memorial High School Council meets at 2:15pm at the School’s Front Office Conference Room (320 Pleasant Street). Read the agenda HERE. Both meetings are open to the public.

Shawsheen River Watershed Association Monthly Meeting

The Shawsheen River Watershed Association (SWRA) is holding its monthly board meeting at 7pm the Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street). The group is focused on the recreational access to and the preservation of the Shawsheen River. The SRWA aims to preserve this local natural resource for the surrounding communities and all to enjoy with events, paddle activities and river clean up sessions.

Karaoke with DJ Manny At TJ Callahan’s Pub

TJ Callahan’s Pub (1475 Main Street) hosts Karaoke with DJ Manny every Wednesday night from 8pm to 11pm.
