The Tewksbury Lions Club raised more than $4,000 in support of local charitable initiatives.
The Tewksbury Lions Club unveiled its 2026 sponsor recognition banner this January, marking the second year of this initiative. Thanks to the generosity of corporate sponsors, the Lions raised just over $4,000 to support a variety of charitable efforts, including sending Tewksbury children to diabetic camp, supporting the local food pantry, awarding scholarships to Tewksbury students, and assisting other charitable causes.
About: The Tewksbury Lions Club is a local chapter of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest volunteer service organization, dedicated to community service and humanitarian outreach. The Tewksbury Lions Club was chartered on November 14, 1954, and has served the Tewksbury area for decades. The club supports a variety of local initiatives, including sending Tewksbury children to a diabetic camp, aiding the Tewksbury Community Pantry, awarding scholarships to local students, providing free eye screenings, collecting and redistributing used eyeglasses, and contributing to other community needs and relief efforts.
