English at Large Partnering with Tewksbury Public Library to host weekly English Conversation Group

Beginning Tuesday February 3rd through Tuesday April 28th, English at Large will partner with the Tewksbury Public Library (TPL) to host weekly English conversation groups.

English at Large (EAL) is a local organization with dedicated volunteers who lead English conversation groups throughout Massachusetts communities. EAL’s conversation groups are designed to help adult English language learners develop skills, tools, support, and confidence to fully engage in their communities.

EAL’s English conversation groups will provide a free space for 8-12 adults seeking to work on their English language skills with others in their community. Each week, a volunteer from EAL will host a conversation group from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the library where attendees have the opportunity to engage in casual conversation with others all while practicing speaking English.

Please note that conversation groups are not classes; these groups are designed for adults who speak English at an intermediate or advanced level.
