What’s Your Favorite Pizza in Tewksbury?
Five students from the Wynn Middle School are raising money for Voices of Hope, a theater group that performs to support cancer research. The students are holding a Pizza War in the Cafeteria of the John Wynn Middle School, 1 Griffin Way, tonight from 4 – 6 p.m. Stop by, sample several pizzas, and cast your vote for the winner! Just $5 covers entry and samples of pizza. Help raise money for a good cause and see if your favorite pizza will win!
Tewksbury Boy’s Basketball Gear Fundraiser
Residents are invited to check out the iSlide shop and grab your Tewksbury socks and slides while supplies last! 20% of the proceeds will be donated back to TBBL to support family cost and enrichment programs. Check out the offerings here.
Tiny Art Reception Tomorrow
Join participants from TPL’s first ever Tiny Art Show tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in a celebration of creativity in our community while also celebrating the 2024 winners in each age category. Tiny brunch and refreshments will be served while supplies last. No registration is required, and this event is for residents of all ages. Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Tewksbury Library.
Track & Field Dineout @ Angelina’s
Residents are invited to Angelina’s for the TMHS Track and Field Dineout night on Thursday, March 7 from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Mention TMHS track and Angelina’s will donate 15% to the program. Reservations are highly recommended.
TPD vs. TMHS Varsity Basketball Game
Tickets are now on sale for a Tewksbury Police vs. TMHS Boys/Girls Varsity basketball game, with proceeds to benefit the Meghan McCarthy Research Fund at Dana-Farber. The cost is $5 at the door, with free admission for TBBL/TGBL players under 12 when they wear their jerseys and are accompanied by an adult. Learn more and donate here.
PWHL Boston ‘Women Trailblazer’ Game
The PWHL Boston, our local women’s pro ice hockey team, will honor and celebrate female pioneers throughout history at a special Women’s Trailblazer Game on Sunday, March 10 at 3 p.m. at the Tsongas. Witness the power, skill, and determination of these incredible athletes as they hit the ice in a thrilling match-up dedicated to trailblazing women who have paved the way across various fields. Tickets are available now at the PWHL website. If you haven’t made one of these games, check it out!
Silvertones Tickets on Sale Now
The annual corned beef & cabbage dinner at the Senior Center may have been canceled, but you can still get tickets to the March 15 Silvertones dance. It’s BYOM (bring your own munchies), and cake will be served.
